The stops, in order

  1. Dam SquareWelcome to Dam Square, the historical and political heart of Amsterdam. This vast esplanade takes its name from the original dam built on the Amstel river around 1270, which gave birth to the city. Here you will see the Royal Palace, a masterpiece of Dutch classical architecture, which rests on more than 13,600 wooden piles.
  2. Anne Frank House↳ 656 m from the previous stop (straight line)You are standing before the Anne Frank House, a site of universal emotional weight. It was in this canal house at Prinsengracht 263 that Anne Frank, her family, and four others hid for over two years during the Nazi occupation. Behind a swinging bookcase lies the Secret Annex where Anne wrote her diary, witnessing with exceptional maturity her hopes and the terror of the time.
  3. Rijksmuseum↳ 1.7 km from the previous stop (straight line)Here is the Rijksmuseum, the national museum of the Netherlands and one of the world's greatest art museums. Its majestic building, designed by Pierre Cuypers in the 19th century, is a jewel in itself. Inside, the Gallery of Honor houses masterpieces of the Dutch Golden Age.
  4. Vondelpark↳ 1.1 km from the previous stop (straight line)Welcome to Vondelpark, Amsterdam's green lung stretching over 47 hectares south of the major canals. Opened in 1865, it is named after the poet Joost van den Vondel, whose statue stands proudly. Each year, over ten million visitors come here to relax, run, or simply cycle among the ponds and colorful gardens.
  5. Heineken Experience↳ 1.6 km from the previous stop (straight line)You are standing before the former Heineken brewery, the birthplace of one of the world's most famous beers. Founded in 1864, this historical brewery produced millions of liters before becoming the 'Heineken Experience'. The red brick building is a fine example of 19th-century industrial architecture.
