The stops, in order

  1. Baiyun MountainWelcome to Baiyun Mountain, Guangzhou's 'green lung,' whose name means 'White Cloud.' This mountain range spans over 20 square kilometers and offers a peaceful natural refuge from the urban bustle. From Moxing Peak, you can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the entire city, especially striking when the morning mist rises. The trails wind through peach gardens, Buddhist temples, and waterfalls.
  2. Chen Clan Hall↳ 8.3 km from the previous stop (straight line)This is the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a masterpiece of traditional Qing Dynasty architecture. Built in the late 19th century, this complex served as both a sanctuary and a school for the 72 clans of the Chen family. What makes it extraordinary is the incredible richness of its decorations: wood, stone, and brick carvings, glazed pottery, and wrought iron patterns.
  3. Six Banyan Trees↳ 2.1 km from the previous stop (straight line)Welcome to the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, a millennium-old Buddhist sanctuary in the heart of the old town. The centerpiece is the Flower Pagoda, an elegant 57-meter-high octagonal structure.
  4. Shamian Island↳ 2.9 km from the previous stop (straight line)Welcome to Shamian Island, a tranquil European enclave in the heart of bustling Guangzhou. A former French and British colonial concession from the 19th century, this small sandy island has preserved its avenues lined with ancient trees and its Victorian-style, neoclassical, and Rococo buildings. Strolling through its pedestrian streets, you will encounter bronze statues illustrating daily life from long ago.
  5. Flower City Square↳ 8.4 km from the previous stop (straight line)This is Huacheng Square, or Flower City Square, the vibrant heart of New Guangzhou. This immense urban square is surrounded by the city's tallest skyscrapers, such as the CTF Finance Centre. It serves as a hub of modernity, with the library, the Guangdong Museum, and the opera house nearby.
  6. Canton Tower↳ 2.0 km from the previous stop (straight line)Welcome to the Canton Tower, one of the most distinctive skyscrapers in the world with its 'waist-line' or hourglass silhouette.
