The stops, in order

  1. Les InvalidesThe Hôtel National des Invalides is an imposing architectural complex commissioned by Louis XIV in 1670 to care for and house his veteran soldiers. Its golden dome, one of Paris's most famous landmarks, now protects the tomb of Napoleon I, placed at the center of a spectacular circular crypt. Today, the site also houses the Army Museum, one of the world's richest, which traces France's military history from the Middle Ages to World War II.
  2. Musée d'Orsay↳ 1.1 km from the previous stop (straight line)Welcome to the Musée d'Orsay, housed in a monumental train station built for the 1900 World's Fair. This exceptional setting contains the world's richest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. Here you can admire masterpieces by Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cézanne, and of course, the colorful torments of Van Gogh.
  3. National Assembly↳ 805 m from the previous stop (straight line)The Palais Bourbon, housing the National Assembly, is the seat of French democracy on the Left Bank of the Seine. Originally built for the daughter of Louis XIV, the building underwent numerous transformations before becoming the heart of legislative power. Its monumental twelve-column facade, added by Napoleon Bonaparte, faces the Madeleine Church, creating a striking neoclassical perspective across the Concorde Bridge.
  4. Trocadéro Sunset↳ 2.1 km from the previous stop (straight line)The Trocadéro Esplanade offers arguably the most iconic and photographed view of Paris toward the Eiffel Tower. Located between the two wings of the Palais de Chaillot, this balcony over the city overlooks the Trocadéro gardens and fountains that stretch down to the Seine. It is here, on this Square of Human Rights, that history and modern architecture meet.
  5. Eiffel Tower↳ 723 m from the previous stop (straight line)Here is the Eiffel Tower, the undisputed emblem of France throughout the world. Erected by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World's Fair, it was initially meant to be dismantled after twenty years. Fortunately, its function as a radio antenna saved its life.
  6. Pont Alexandre III↳ 1.5 km from the previous stop (straight line)The Pont Alexandre III is widely considered the most elegant and richly decorated bridge in Paris. Inaugurated for the 1900 World's Fair, it symbolizes the Franco-Russian alliance signed by Tsar Alexander III. Its four 17-meter-high stone columns bear gilded bronze Fame statues representing arts, sciences, commerce, and industry.
  7. Orangerie Museum↳ 666 m from the previous stop (straight line)The Musée de l'Orangerie, located in the former greenhouse of the Tuileries Palace, has become a sanctuary dedicated to modern art. It is world-famous for housing the 'Water Lilies', Claude Monet's monumental and testamentary work. Gifted to France after World War I, these eight gigantic compositions are displayed in two oval rooms bathed in natural light, offering a spectacle of colors and reflections that envelops the visitor in visual meditation.
